Hello. I am in charge of the iDance characters.
Let me explain about the pages, before about how to make characters. 'How to make characters' includes ways to make characters from design to completion on a gradual basis.
Please fully understand how to use the program (3D Max. Photoshop) through textbooks or Internet lectures before setting about making characters. If you send the complete file as *wrl file and texure file, iDance will work on it and make it available through D-Player. You will be able to download it at the iDance web page. I would appreciate your cooperation. Thank you.
The most important thing about modeling is the joint.
Please refer to the following (Figure 1) when you work on it, so that you can see the dance with more natural motions.
As for the skirt, there should be no mash at the center. (Figure 2)
The unit of 'Units' in 'Units Setup', 'Customize' should be unified as cm. ( Figure 3)
